Request a private referral

Patients are entitled to ask for a referral to a private consultant rather than be seen within the NHS. Patients can request private treatment which can be either self-funded or funded by their private medical insurance. In some cases, patient's do not require a GP referral. However, many private practitioners and medical insurance providers require a referral letter from the GP.

If you have an existing NHS referral but would like to go private, please complete this query form and a member of the team will contact you.

If you have not spoken to a GP about a private referral, you will need to make an appointment.
